FOODTECH members offer modern, state-of-the-art testing equipment to ensure your products achieve their targeted shelf-life, meet microbial safety and compositional requirements and are assessed for nutritional content. In addition to a wide array of tests, some centres have developed expertise in knowing how to meet buyer's compositional or quality requirements, such as for fresh seafood, or the colour of baked goods, to name but a few.

Many of our Centres also specialize in “sensory” analysis where products can be analyzed using trained panelists or consumers, giving you important feedback on the acceptability and the eating properties of your product(s). Trained panels can help identify specific quality attributes and maximum shelf-life, whereas consumer panels, specifically matched to your market demographics, provide an important indication of the overall acceptability of your product.
