Overview
The Food Innovation Centre of BC (FICBC) was established to enhance product innovation and commercialization opportunities for BC’s food processing, natural health products, and consumer bioproduct sectors.
Operating on a hub-and-spoke model, the FICBC can link you with an array of services and resources that will help your company be more effective, more competitive and more profitable. The FICBC will assist companies — large or small — in all stages of their product development life cycle: from established businesses with a specialized need, to a new company with a great idea but limited experience.
Currently in the start up phase, the FICBC is funded through the federal-provincial-territorial Growing Forward Agreement with the objective of being a self-sustaining, industry supported business model.
